Services at Southern Eye Clinic for Animals include consultation on diseases affecting the eyes or vision in any nonhuman species. As a full-service, referral practice, we provide ophthalmic diagnostic testing and medical and surgical therapies in cooperation with the pet's primary care veterinarian. Follow up assessments of a patient's condition are recommended as needed to result in an optimal outcome. Telephone consultations with primary care veterinarians are welcomed.

A Note About CERF: The Canine Eye Registration Foundation (CERF) functions to assist dog breeders reduce inherited eye diseases. Eye examinations are performed by certified veterinary ophthalmologists. These examinations are recommended for any purebred dogs, even if not intended for breeding. These exams may be scheduled as regular appointments or during "CERF eye screening" clinics at which multiple dogs can be screened for inherited eye diseases.
